  • New Sharps Disposal Law In Effect
The Shasta County Sharps Disposal Task Force is reminding residents that disposing of sharps in the trash is prohibited in California starting September 1, 2008. It also requires sharps waste to be transported in a puncture-proof container that is properly labeled as sharps.
